The office of Pakistan’s prime minister announced that Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif signed the “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding” in his capacity as a guarantor of the agreement.
In a statement issued from Islamabad on 18 June 2026, the office explained that the memorandum bears the signatures of U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
